Which Treatment is Best For Me?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

What is it?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy combines increased atmospheric pressure with increased inspired oxygen to enhance oxygen delivery to the body. This therapy boosts oxygen-carrying capacity, promotes healing, and affects gene expression to reduce inflammation and prevent cell death.

How far under the water am I when I am in the chamber?

1 ATM is 33 feet under the water

Hard Shell Chamber vs. Soft Shell Chamber

There are very bad studies lately that indicate that 1.3 ATA has the same results as 2.4 ATA. Everything is subjective, there are no real metrics associated with these studies. When metrics are applied:

- There is little evidence of benefit

- There is evidence of harm. At 1.3 ATA and below, the higher oxygen can feed bacteria.

1.3 ATA is not enough pressure to stimulate epigenetic changes. There are over 5,600 cellular mechanisms of action that take place at different saturation levels of oxygen and those do not start until 1.5 ATA.

Henry’s Law states: “At a constant temperature, the amount of gas that dissolves in a liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas above the liquid.” As the pressure of a gas increases above a liquid, more of that gas will dissolve into the liquid.

Molecular Hydrogen

What is it?

Molecular hydrogen therapy uses hydrogen gas (H₂) for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It is administered through methods like inhalation, hydrogen-rich water, baths, or intravenous solutions. The therapy aims to reduce oxidative stress by neutralizing harmful free radicals, potentially benefiting conditions like neurodegenerative diseases and cardiovascular issues. While research shows promise, more studies are needed to confirm its effectiveness.

Compression

What is it?

Compression boots, also known as recovery boots, use air compression to squeeze the lower body, starting at the feet and moving up to the hips. This process is called intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC). The compression stimulates blood flow, helps remove metabolic waste, and reduces inflammation. Come try our Therabody RecoveryAir compression boots which offer wireless pneumatic compression treatment with precise pressure to your entire upper and lower legs, revitalizing your muscles and recharging your legs.
